Job Summary
You will be supporting the Sophis application for the Equity Derivatives business. This is a critical application which delivers overnight and intraday Risk Limits and Valuations for the Front Office.
You will be responsible for maintaining stability and availability of the application, as well as continuous software releases to add features and enhancements. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the integrity of the data quality derived from our official EOD Market Data and positions which are priced by our Model Library.
Job Description
- Monitoring the EOD batches and act immediately to identify the root cause for job failures and remediate.
- Monitor via ITRS Dashboard to ensure health of Application.
- Ensure timely delivery to downstream consumers (Front Office).
- Drive improved stability and higher quality of data delivered to Front Office.
- Document new issues that occur and maintain/enhance existing documentation to ensure consistent steps performed for known issues.
- Coordinate between several groups to remediate issues (Support, Development, Analytics, Quants).
- Investigate pricing failures and resolve issues utilization various skills including SQL, Unix, Windows.
- Develop scripts to automate processes using Powershell and other scripting languages.
