Position Summary

The Senior Software Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization’s enterprise and operational software ecosystem. This role serves as a key technical owner of core financial and operational platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.


Working closely with the IT Infrastructure team and business stakeholders, the Senior Software Systems Administrator will support the organization’s ERP systems and ancillary business applications, contributing to a fully integrated software and infrastructure footprint across the enterprise.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strictly focused on SaaS application operation and workflow management.
  • Application Governance: Act as the primary functional administrator for Sage 100, Sage 300 CRE, and QuickBooks Pro, ensuring the software supports daily accounting operations.
  • Workflow Optimization: Partner with finance and construction teams to configure system settings, modules, and workflows to align with business processes.
  • Functional Support: Provide high-level user support for ancillary systems (Molo and Tipalti), focusing on resolving transactional errors and process bottlenecks.
  • Release Management: Coordinate with SaaS vendors to review upcoming feature releases, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and communicate impact to the accounting team.
  • Data Integrity & Integration: Oversee the functional data flow between integrated systems; monitor automated syncs and perform data mapping to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Advanced Reporting: Design and maintain custom financial reports, dashboards, and data queries within the ERP environment.
  • Access Control: Manage application-level permissions and security roles within the software to maintain proper Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Business Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting tasks using existing software features or third-party add-ons.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of internal business rules, custom configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each application.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years supporting enterprise financial and operational systems

• Hands-on experience with Sage 100 and/or Sage 300 CRE

• Experience supporting QuickBooks Pro in complex environments

• Experience with Tipalti and/or Molo preferred

• Strong understanding of accounting and operational workflows

• Experience collaborating with IT infrastructure teams

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Real estate, construction, or hospitality industry experience

• Exposure to system integrations or reporting tools

• Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
