The Application Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for implementing and providing technical application, training and marketing support pre-sales and post-sales work, to direct and channel partner operations.
This position is part of the Diagnostics Team located in Malaysia and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Beckman Coulter Malaysia Diagnostics team and report to the Application Supervisor responsible for providing applications support to pre-sales and post-sales activities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide the pre-sales and post-sales support for Diagnostic products to achieve the sales and profit goals in Malaysia market
- Conduct customer training, instrument performance evaluation and troubleshooting
- Provide support on product, technical and application issues
- Facilitate the dissemination of tech application and marketing info to the direct and channel partner team
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the execution of certain technical implementation, e.g. reagent reformulation updates, software upgrades, product corrections, etc.
- Assist sales team in product demonstration and promotion and sales tools development
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor or above in Biomedical Science or related subject
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or related commercial field in the same capacity in an international organization.
- Strong logical thinking capability and analytical skills;
- High level integrity and commitment to work and self-initiative;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – 40% travel within Malaysia
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Proficiency in English and Malay. Additional language skills are a plus.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Clinical Chemistry, Immunology and Lab Automation
