Are you our new Application Specialist- Workday Integrations?
The purpose of the Application Specialist, Workday Integrations role is to ensure ongoing maintenance and development of Intrum’s global Finance systems with a primary responsibility for Workday Financials integration maintenance and development. Join Intrum’s Group Finance Applications organization and work with the Workday integrations team, business analysts and process owners to ensure excellence in Financial integrations.
What will you do:
- Perform development, testing, deployment and support of integrations and reports.
- Learn to develop, configure, and test technical integrations for the Workday Solution using Workday Studio, Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Building (EIB), Complex Calculated Fields, Workday Custom Reports, Web Services, and XSLT.
- Partner with business and technology colleagues in short- and mid-term integration projects, taking an end to end view with business processes and middleware.
- Ensure comprehensive unit testing and integration testing.
- Monitor and maintain interfaces between Workday and internal and external systems.
- Manage incidents for the inbound/outbound interfaces to the system and middleware, perform routine break/fix support and regression testing for updates.
- Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
- Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
- Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Product Owners, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate.
What we´re looking for:
- Service desk or ITSM system experience
- One to three years of system integration or software maintenance or development experience.
- Three to five years of experience in integrations support, maintenance, or development.
- Knowledge of Web Services and APIs (SOAP, XML, XSLT, REST, JSON).
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
- Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
It´s nice to have:
- Experience with Agile development processes and Scrum framework, knowledge of Jira.
- Knowlede of Workday Integration development.
- An understanding of integration design and testing concepts and integration frameworks (e.g., middleware, file transfer, transformation logic), Kafka or Mulesoft knowledge a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, macros, and/or SQL a plus.
