Job Summary:

The Application Specialist will design, implement, and optimize automation solutions for digital platforms, including Sitecore-based web applications, APIs, and integration projects. This role requires a strong background in content management systems (CMS), APIs testing, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical automation frameworks. The specialist will collaborate closely with development, QA teams, DevOps, and marketing technology teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of digital content management solutions.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain automation frameworks for Sitecore and custom web applications.
  • Support API integration, migration and test initiatives to ensure data continuity.
  • Create and maintain documentation for automation logic, configuration management, and API specifications.
  • Troubleshoot issues, automation pipelines, and integration issues using various tools and root cause analysis.
  • Implement best practices for continuous integration (CI/CD), testing, and performance monitoring within the CMS ecosystem.
  • Provide user support (as needed), technical training, and application expertise to business units and marketing teams.

*Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).

Position Details:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 9 + years of experience in automation engineering, application support, or system integration roles.
  • Proficiency with Sitecore or other enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Hands on experience with API migration testing, automating APIs and API gateway or migration tools.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, PowerShell, for automation scripting.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.


Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years-Relevant experience* (Required), Minimum of 1 year-Managing people, processes, or projects (Required)
