The Field Application Specialist Turkey is responsible for Assesses potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales and prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufacturer stated specifications. Creates detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions. Builds mini-applications with process simulation, often requiring rapid software modeling and/or product demo/training (at conferences, seminars, trade shows, or customer sites) for customer. May assist with optimizing products to meet customer needs and workflow requirements..
This position reports to the HGM Flow Cytometry Manager and is part of the EMEA flow Application team located in Turkey and will be working remotely to cover Turkey region and based on requirements the neighboring countries .
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Be responsible for providing instruments (Flow cytometry and sorter) and application training to Beckman coulter customers on-site as per the requirement.
- support the Sales Team in identifying market opportunities and assisting to actualize market potential.
- Position products and technology through presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and seminars. in alignment with company values, business objectives, and marketing strategy.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Application and Training Support
Provide Instrument and Applications training on Beckman Coulter cell analysis range of products to ensure a high level of end-user satisfaction.
Marketing and Sales support
Understanding requirements of customer’s experiment and provide appropriate technical and product solutions through discussions, presentations and/or product/application demonstrations to positively impact sales and increase productivity.
Monitor and report
Prepare and provide a monthly report to supervisor on the training and marketing activities done. Ensure timely submission training and evaluation reports.
Previous experience and demonstrated competence in flow cytometry and sorter related applications
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel – 70% time is expected in the field with also overnights if required
Within the assigned geographies or
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Fluency in written and oral English
- Analytical problem solving
- Presentation and teaching skills
