As Application Specialist at Remeha, your mission is to create smart digital tools that empower our customers, internal sales teams and backoffice teams. By enhancing sales and usage processes, through applications such as a solution selection tool and a cascading tool, you’ll help them making faster, and more efficient decisions or providing better tailored advise. Hence, driving the overall efficiency of the sales process for our commercial solutions
Your Role
This role focuses on building, connecting, and delivering. Based in Apeldoorn within the Development Unit Commercial, you collaborate closely with Software Engineering teammates. You exchange best practices, gather organizational tooling requirements, and ensure our digital tools aid the full customer experience.
You design, develop, and maintain scalable web apps and APIs that meet both business and customer needs. You work alongside UX/UI designers, product managers, and fellow developers to create seamless, user-friendly experiences.
As part of your work, you build and maintain databases, application logic, and end-to end data pipelines, which form the backbone of our digital tools. You also develop responsive front-end interfaces using cutting-edge frameworks, occasionally collaborating with external partners. You will ensure that every application provides high performance, reliability, and responsiveness, writing clean, testable, and well-documented code to support maintainability and scalability.
Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications is part of your daily work, and you actively stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve our solutions. You engage in code reviews, fostering a team culture of learning and collaboration and knowledge sharing. You allign local needs with global priorities to provide effective solutions throughout the organization.
This is a hybrid position. We value flexibility and collaboration: you're encouraged to spend at least three days per week in our office in Apeldoorn, while enjoying the support for your home office set-up and travel costs.
You report to the Workstream Lead Customer Information Systems.
What You Bring
- Knowledge of C# with .NET Core Backend (experience with Python is a plus).
- Proficiency with SQL Server, including schema design, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with tools for version control, including Git.
- Excellent skills in problem-solving and analysis.
- Outstanding skills in communication and teamwork.
- Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge in HVAC, energy, or related technical fields is beneficial.
