We are seeking an Application Packager to support the packaging and testing of applications for deployment within a Windows OS environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in application packaging tools, Windows operating systems, and software deployment best practices. This role will ensure the seamless delivery of application packages while adhering to security and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Package and test applications for deployment within a Windows OS environment.
- Utilize industry-standard tools (e.g., Flexera AdminStudio, InstallShield) for packaging and deployment.
- Perform quality assurance testing to ensure application compatibility and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application installations and packaging.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure proper application functionality.
- Maintain documentation related to packaging processes, configurations, and testing results.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and organizational standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in application packaging and deployment for Windows OS.
- Proficiency with packaging tools such as Flexera AdminStudio, InstallShield.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for application compatibility and deployment issues.
- Understanding of Windows registry, Group Policy, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Batch Scripting).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments.
- Experience with SCCM, App-V, Batch scripting, PsExec
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud-based deployment solutions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Client, ITIL).
