Designs accessible, user-centered digital applications for a Department of Veterans Affairs project. Responsibilities include user research, wireframing, mockups, prototyping in Figma, accessibility guidance, Section 508 compliance, audit and remediation support, and collaboration with analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a federal healthcare project supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. Translate business and regulatory requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities. Collaborate with stakeholders, clinical teams, and Agile delivery teams while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, Section 508, security controls, and interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, and EDI transactions. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, validate releases, and coordinate testing, documentation, and approvals.

Supports Department of Veterans Affairs cybersecurity authorization and risk management activities across the full NIST RMF and ATO lifecycle. Develops security artifacts, assesses risks and vulnerabilities, implements controls, manages POA&Ms, and coordinates remediation with technical and business stakeholders. The role also supports cloud security, FedRAMP, continuous monitoring, compliance assessments, security documentation, and briefings.

Lead and execute capture efforts for federal opportunities across contract vehicles. Develop capture plans, conduct opportunity and competitive analysis, coordinate gate reviews, align solution/pricing/proposal teams, support teaming and subcontractor strategy, maintain CRM pipeline hygiene, and contribute to value propositions and pricing inputs to increase probability of win.

Provide remote operational support for VA EHRM integration: monitor HL7 interfaces, troubleshoot production issues, support interface testing, assist with site go-lives and releases, maintain release and operational documentation, and collaborate with technical teams.

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts; create detailed test cases; perform manual and regression testing; report defects; maintain test documentation; conduct performance and UAT testing; collaborate with developers; and improve automation processes.
