- Advising clients on Gen strategy, application modernisation and system re-architecture.
- Delivering Gen upgrades, re-platforming projects and transformation initiatives.
- Evaluating existing applications and recommending improvements.
- Designing prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate future solutions.
- Managing delivery activities and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact throughout engagements.
- Supporting proposals, RFPs, ITTs and business development activities.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of TXP's modernisation capabilities and technical solutions.

- Component-Based Development (CBD)
- Transaction processing
- Batch processing
- Relational database access
- Performance tuning
- User interface design and implementation
- A proven background in application re-platforming and transformation projects
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- COBOL development experience.
- Mainframe technologies including ISPF, SCLM, SPUFI and JCL.
- Java, .NET, Spring Boot, Angular or cloud technologies.
- CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with automation tooling development, enhancement or configuration.
