Our Group Trading department supports Erste Group's Treasury Markets, Equity Trading, and Fixed Income businesses. Working directly alongside our trading teams at Erste Campus, we provide end-to-end IT services covering application management, business analysis, implementation, integration, and operational support for business-critical trading platforms.

What to do:

• Manage and support business-critical trading applications throughout their lifecycle

• Ensure stable operations, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement

• Partner with traders and business stakeholders to optimize processes and user experience

• Coordinate changes, releases, upgrades, and vendor activities

• Drive automation, operational excellence, and platform resilience

• Contribute to our growing data and AI capabilities by working with modern technologies such as Databricks and cloud-based data platforms

• Collaborate with business experts, architects, data engineers, and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions

You check these boxes:

• 5+ years of experience in IT, ideally in Application Management, Production Support, or Financial Services

• Experience managing applications on Linux and Windows Server environments

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of application lifecycle management and IT service processes

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring solutions

• Familiarity with trading, capital markets, securities, or banking applications is a plus

• Interest or experience in Databricks, SQL, data engineering, cloud platforms, AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI

• Team-oriented and willing to meet our team every week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Erste Campus

• Willingness to work based on functional staffing time during trading hours and to perform specific maintenance tasks on weekends (based upon alignment)

• Excellent English skills; German is an advantage

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 62.664,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality, we are more than happy to discuss your actual expectations.
