We are looking for an Application Expert Operational Intelligence who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building intelligent integrations & automation, and turning operational needs into solutions that make a real difference for our customers and colleagues.

Your role as an Application Expert

• You manage and optimize monitoring platforms like DataMiner.
• You design and maintain integrations via APIs, databases, SNMP, and other interfaces.
• You automate processes for alarm handling, incident detection and customer journeys.
• You troubleshoot complex technical incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• You drive innovation by contributing to AI, machine learning, and smart alarm management projects.
• You bridge the gap between operational needs and technical solutions.

Your profile as an Application Expert 

• You have strong programming and scripting skills : proficiency in Python, Java, C#, PowerShell, and/or Bash for application support, automation, and development.
• You have technical Expertise in Application Platforms : solid knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, SQL databases, REST APIs, and system integrations.
• You have Application Lifecycle & Software Development Experience : understanding of software development practices, troubleshooting, application lifecycles, code refactoring, and software maintenance.
• You have an analytical and Problem-Solving Mindset : ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions in a structured manner.
• You have strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in Dutch and English.
• You have a passion for Automation and Emerging Technologies : interest in AI, machine learning, operational automation, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
• You are willing to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and take responsibility for the availability and performance of business-critical applications.

Nice-to-have expertise:

• Telecom and network technologies (DataMiner, OSS/BSS, SNMP)
• DevOps practices and cloud platforms (GitLab CI/CD, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Monitoring, observability, and event-driven automation.
• Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
