Job Description:
This is an entry level position in application engineering.
Responsibilities include providing application support, debugging, product training, and developing reference circuits of switch mode power supplies for automotive applications.
Job Functions:
- Provide application support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers
- Optimization of switch mode power designs e.g. efficiency/stability/EMI/layout reviews
- Simulation, implementation and testing of new application ideas
- Participate in product development and communicate with TME/DE/PE to refine IC operation
- Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences.
Requirements:
- Solid academic knowledge of power electronics and switch mode power supply control theory.
- Hands on experience with power elections circuit design or modeling
- Experimental skill including operation of oscilloscope, power supplies, function generators… etc.
- Fluent communication skills in English, with excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated
- MSEE or higher required
