The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an Applications Engineer to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing critical network monitoring and security applications. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding our agency's network infrastructure while working with cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance and software support for HAIPE (High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor) encryption systems

• Offer technical assistance for related tools and services

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues

• Contribute to the development and improvement of security applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust network protection

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

• Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems

• Experience with Vine KG Tool and/or GENOME KG Tool

• Competence in Java programming

• Familiarity with Splunk data analysis platform

• Python programming skills

• Working knowledge of ElasticSearch and NiFi

• IAT Level 2 Certification

• Education and experience (one of the following combinations):

  • 12+ years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED

  • 10+ years of experience with an associate's degree

  • 8+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree

  • 6+ years of experience with a master's degree

  • 4+ years of experience with a Doctorate degree

Desired:

• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues between KG software and hardware

• Experience with TypeScript, Angular 10+, and Java

• Familiarity with MongoDB and Kubernetes (Docker)

• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Sybase)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
