Job Description

Inkjet Application Engineer

We are a company leader in the PCB tools manufacturing environment placed in Italy. We are part of an international group, leader in high technology tool development.

We are looking for technical expert for Applications activities on development and implementation of KLA Inkjet tools in customer facilities. 

Role and responsibility:

  • Activities of printing tests on KLA inkjet equipment
  • Driving, development and support of new applications for inkjet printing in the electronic industry
  • Data preparation, printing recipes development, machine setup and usage
  • Create recipes for regular machine usage in production, create customized recipes and configuration for specific customer cases
  • Study and analysis of specific materials (inks, substrates etc) and processes (surface preparation, curing etc) for inkjet application
  • Lab experiments and tests, data analysis, technical report
  • Problems analysis and troubleshooting in cooperation with other teams, analysis of tool performance and developing outstanding solutions to meet customer’s requirements.
  • BMTs – printing test for new customers on different materials, for different applications

Recommended Skills:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree in Physical Sciences (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry) or Engineering field
  • Knowledge and ability of usage of CAM/CAD system and graphic software
  • Ability to perform sophisticated data analysis using data-analysis tools, Excel,MATLAB or equivalent
  • Knowledge of PCB and semiconductors production process
  • Background of working experience in PCB and/pr semiconductor field is preferable.
  • Availability to travel (minimum of 4 travel /year)
  • Learning ability, self-management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills – Ability to build and maintain regular communication with KLA subsidiaries and customers
  • Teamwork ability
  • Languages: Fluent Italian, Fluent English (both written and spoken)

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 1 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years
