We are looking for a highly talented Application engineer with strong technical and customer orientation to join our unique application team.

Collect customer needs and cooperate with the various development groups to accommodate R&D plans to tool roadmap and customer needs.

Identify and assist solve customers' High Value Problems within the manufacturing process.

Supporting customer sites including product installation at least 2-3 months a year.

Travels - 30% of the time

Typically required to apply software, algorithms, and physics skills to support specialized and/or complex requirements during product implementation.

Provides the necessary support for product installation (Tier 3 system installation).

What you should have?

BSc. / MSc. in Engineering (Electrical / Materials / Mechanical / Chemical / Biomedical / Biotechnological /Aerospace).

Excellent English skills – speak, write, read.

Experience with optical inspection tools – Highly Preferred

Experience working with complex electronic systems, experience in the semiconductors industry - Preferred.

Technical background - Preferred.

§Interacts with customers, company sales and /or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales support functions.
§Provides application and technical assistance and advice to sales force to support the sale and implementation of Applied Materials’ products and services.

§Assists with product presentations and sales efforts with technical/application tasks as needed.
§Prepare an in depth technical analysis of tool performance.
§Develops plans for post-sale support needs. Identifies opportunities for additional utilization of the systems in customer site in order to generate more business potential.
§Develops, maintains and executes product’s strategy at a given customer in terms of application and technology.
