What We're Looking For:

Our Sales Engineers are customer-facing professionals with technical and commercial skills that drive brand preference for Zebra's technology solutions among our partners and end-users. In this role, you will engage with the broader Sales and Sales Engineering team, our Partners, and Customers across India and the Sub-Continent Region. With a passion for mobile device software development, you will assist in developing applications that may be implemented as solutions across our customer locations and install base.
As a new member of the team, you'll spend your time working alongside our Sales Team, while also actively contributing to our developer communities, promoting our portfolio of mobility tools, working with our Engineering team to develop new mobility tools, and supporting the delivery of internal and external pitches.
Ideally, this person will be based in the Bangalore office to be close to Zebra's hardware and software business unit engineering teams.

• Work as a member of a technical pre-sales team supporting the positioning of Zebra products to large Enterprise customers
• Opportunity to lead technical presentations including Sales, System Integrators, Product Engineers, Program Managers and Business Partners regarding the implementation of enterprise mobile computing, advanced data capture and label printing solutions
• Set-up and lead solution demonstrations for customers and partners
• Using your software development skills, work closely with other Sales Engineers and Engineering Departments to help decide the best application architecture to a given customer issue. In some cases, developing a proof of concept of the proposal will be required
• Participate in Zebra core technologies virtual teams related to application development
• Attend technical, product and sales training as required
• Opportunity to participate in Zebra and external industry events such as DroidCon or Zebra AppForum

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Uses domain/solutions knowledge to competitive advantage
• Exposure to UHF RFID technology is an added advantage ( min.6 months experience)

 Some Key Skills We're Looking For

- Experience with enterprise mobility solutions, advanced data capture technologies and label printing solutions.

Comfortable creating & presenting technical content, to a variety of audiences, including non-technical

- Ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to various audiences

- Understanding of OOP (Object Orientated Programming) principles:

• Android Development
• Java, C#, C++, Python
• Embedded Programming

- Familiarity with integrating 3rd party services (Rest APIs) & libraries (SDKs) into applications

- Familiarity with data interchange formats (JSON, XML)

- Advanced English is required

- Ability and willingness to travel

- Willingness & ability to learn on the go, comfortable asking questions in person.Oriented
