What we are looking for
The China Application department at Nova is looking for an application engineer to support our business and drive its growth. As part of this role, you will hold full accountability for OCD solution delivering, customer site meeting, customer application training, pre-sales support work etc. In this role, you will work closely with the customer, sales team, HQ and FSE team to explore more business opportunity in China market.
Role ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing
- Supply on-site application support and metrology solutions to End users in CMP, CVD, Lithography and Etch process groups.
- To establish good technical relationships (and good communication channels ) with customers, have a comprehensive understanding of their process and issues.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including future changes and trends.
- Remain involved and up to date with new metrology applications and products.
- Perform pre-sale demonstrations and presentations to customers.
- Help in developing new and current applications in close coordination with LTD or other subsidiaries.
- Provide sales support and sales related information to the marketing group.
- Above master’s degree in physical, Material Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering background.
- Knowledge with Semiconductor process.
- Must be able to work independently and a team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to travel to various regions for training (basic training for up to 2mths) and support activities.
- Strong analytical skills multi-tasking, good attitude and high EQ.

Skills Required
- Master's degree or above in Physics, Materials Science Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes (CMP, CVD, Lithography, Etch)
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills (English; description also mentions Hebrew)
- Willingness to travel for training and support activities (training up to 2 months)
