Requirements
- Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred for Sr. Level) in Photonics, Optics, Electronics with 3-8 YoE in photonic device/system design or simulation
- Strong fundamentals in Maxwell’s equations, electromagnetic wave propagation, and optical materials.
- Hands-on expertise in waveguide design, photonic ICs, lasers/LEDs, modulators, detectors, optical interconnects, or quantum photonics.
- Proficiency with ANSYS Lumerical, RSoft or equivalent photonic simulation tools
- Programming skills in Python or MATLAB for scripting, automation
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills with the ability to engage R&D stakeholders
- Willingness to travel up to 25–30%.
