About the role
2 year Fixed Term Contract
As a Salesforce Application Engineer, you'll design, build and support Salesforce solutions that deliver value across AGL. Working closely with stakeholders, architects and delivery teams, you'll develop scalable, high-quality solutions while leveraging AI, automation and modern engineering practices to improve customer outcomes and delivery efficiency.
What you’ll be doing:
Design, build and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business value across AGL.
Champion modern engineering practices, including AI-enabled development, automation, and continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, enhance user experiences, and improve operational efficiency through technology.
Partner with architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and successful outcomes.
Drive technical excellence through code reviews, reusable components, platform optimisation, and best-practice Salesforce development.
About you:
Deep expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, OmniStudio, APIs, and Salesforce platform best practices.
Experience delivering complex Salesforce solutions across enterprise environments, including integrations with digital platforms and systems such as SAP and MuleSoft.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, DevOps, CI/CD, source control, testing, and release management practices.
Passion for innovation, AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify opportunities that improve delivery efficiency, customer outcomes, and platform performance.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teams to solve complex technical challenges, drive continuous improvement, and deliver business value.
