Marmon Industrial Water’s Mobile Water Solutions team is currently seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join the team.
The Application Engineer/ Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by being a technical resource, managing customer relationships, generating leads, and supporting the external sales team. This role is based in our Burlington ON or Houston TX office.

- Provides solutions through detailed equipment proposals and quotations supporting customer Mobile water needs.
- Support sales proposal generation. Review customer specifications and develop required technical clarifications/exceptions and customer required data sheets.
- Follow up on leads through calls and email contact, partnering with the Sales team.
- Educate prospective clients on MIW’s Mobile Equipment offerings.
- Provide timely information and quotations to customers.
- Provide high quality customer service and present information to customer requests in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Act as a technical consultant to assess customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Build long term customer relationships through regular communication.
- Generate sales leads, follow up on quotations and finalize orders.
- Utilize and maintain our customer database to manage and support all sales efforts.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to support revenue growth.
- Support the activities of the field Sales team.
Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:
- University or College Degree, preferable in engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a sales and/or business development role.
- Exposure to industrial water equipment is a strong asset.
- Desire to learn about industrial water treatment equipment.
- Understanding and ability to interpret engineered drawings is an asset.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
