Marmon Industrial Water’s Mobile Water Solutions team is currently seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join the team. 

The Application Engineer/ Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by being a technical resource, managing customer relationships, generating leads, and supporting the external sales team. This role is based in our Burlington ON or Houston TX office.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Provides solutions through detailed equipment proposals and quotations supporting customer Mobile water needs.
  • Support sales proposal generation.  Review customer specifications and develop required technical clarifications/exceptions and customer required data sheets.
  • Follow up on leads through calls and email contact, partnering with the Sales team.
  • Educate prospective clients on MIW’s Mobile Equipment offerings.
  • Provide timely information and quotations to customers.
  • Provide high quality customer service and present information to customer requests in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Act as a technical consultant to assess customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Build long term customer relationships through regular communication.
  • Generate sales leads, follow up on quotations and finalize orders.
  • Utilize and maintain our customer database to manage and support all sales efforts.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to support revenue growth.
  • Support the activities of the field Sales team.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:

  • University or College Degree, preferable in engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a sales and/or business development role.
  • Exposure to industrial water equipment is a strong asset.
  • Desire to learn about industrial water treatment equipment.
  • Understanding and ability to interpret engineered drawings is an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
