Application Engineer (f/m/d)

• Application engineering consulting and design of magnetic couplings and mechanical seals for maritime applications

• Technical, sales and strategic advice and support for the subsidiaries in the expansion of business in the field of magnetic couplings, maritime seals and special applications

• Carrying out technical and commercial quotation processing in SAP as well as calculations for magnetic couplings/mechanical seals and special maritime applications

• Continuous maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships, including customer visits and customer training

• Proactive search for and development of new sales opportunities and development of effective sales strategies

• Processing complaints, damage analyses and damage reports in close cooperation with the complaints management and design departments

• Participation in contract award negotiations and in the new and further development of products

• Support in the processing of design orders

• Preparation of technical documents and application guidelines as well as reference documents, specialist presentations and industry-related presentations

• Supporting the sales companies with customer-specific standardization projects

• Successfully completed engineering studies with a focus on mechanical engineering, precision engineering or industrial engineering or a comparable qualification

• Confident handling of MS Office, further knowledge of special software (SAP, etc.) an advantage

• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong customer orientation, reliability and professional appearance

• Strong communication skills, flexibility and high ability to work in a team, as well as a high degree of self-organization and an independent, results-oriented way of working

• Business fluent in German and English

• Willingness to travel (internationally)
