We are looking for
Application Engineer BJ
at one of our locations in China Taicang
Take the next step in your career with us in a global innovative (automotive) environment:
Master the technical details of high-voltage wire harness and aluminum power wire harness for customers’ mass-production and under-development projects, and follow up with feedback from the customer engineering team.
Timely follow up on customers' potential project information and explore application opportunities for products.
In accordance with customer SOR requirements, take the lead in completing the initial design scheme of new projects, and provide detailed product description for quotation.
Communicate with the customer technical department, be responsible for on-site design and technical support at the customer’s site, assist customers with technical data filing, and complete internal drawing release.
Organize relevant personnel to conduct review on product design schemes.
Assist customers in compiling DFMEA documents.
Coordinate with internal product engineers on DV and PV test plans at the customer side.
Assist customers in handling design changes during project development and mass production, and release relevant changes internally.
Based on information provided by project engineers, keep customers updated on the progress of OM projects.
Report weekly work content, project progress and work plan to the AK engineer in charge of the corresponding customer.
Design cable grooves, brackets, rubber parts and other structural components as per customer requirements.
Complete other temporary tasks assigned by the customer.
Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant majors.
At least 3 years of working experience in wire harness product design, with solid knowledge of wire harness technology.
Familiar with the product development process and understand its importance in the overall project lifecycle.
Proficient in CATIA for wire harness routing design; experienced in using Teamcenter.
Possess good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Basic oral English communication capability.
Capable of engineering analysis and able to independently solve technical problems.
.Have basic knowledge of GD&T.
Able to adapt to the customer’s work pace and deliver tasks in line with customer project schedules; willing to work overtime as required by customer demands.
