We are seeking an experienced Application Development/Solution Architect to support one of our clients with the design and build of a custom web application using Microsoft Azure SDK's and integrations in our self-hosted environment. This hybrid architect/developer role will be part of a larger user centered design team to help build applications that meet the needs of the end user. Web application must be built using Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect a custom web application leveraging Microsoft Azure SDKs and frameworks in a self-hosted environment.
- Develop full-stack application code aligned with user-centered design principles and wireframes.
- Create architectural and logical design documentation, including diagrams, flows, and specifications.
- Implement accessible design and development best practices to ensure usability and compliance.
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for code automation, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct quality assurance activities and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of the application.
- Provide end-user support, configuration management, and service-level oversight during implementation.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Microsoft Azure Application Development and/or Architecture (required).
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in architecture and hands-on development of custom web applications.
- Proven experience designing and building solutions based on user-centered design principles and wireframes.
- Senior-level proficiency in Microsoft Azure SDKs, frameworks, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of full-stack development, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear diagrams, logical flows, and technical documentation.
