Application Developer Lead Analyst
Hands-on developer supporting the DPA COE across all team applications — Pega Common Layer operations, the FLAC license management platform, the RAG knowledge platform, and the Pega Deployment Manager. This role bridges Pega platform operations with modern full-stack development. You will be expected to learn and adopt AI-assisted development tools and practices as the team automates its manual operational work.

 

 Manage day-to-day Common Layer operations: code merges, skimming, and baseline activities across application teams
 Develop and maintain features across all COE applications:
o FLAC — license forecasting and cost management platform (FastAPI + React + PostgreSQL)
o RAG Platform — enterprise AI knowledge system (FastAPI + React + LangChain + Azure AI Search)
o Pega Deployment Manager — automated deployment workflows (Python + GitHub integration)
 Support deployment workflows and version management across multiple GitHub repositories
 Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, including Pega native API integrations for automated builds and deployments
 Contribute to operational automation scripts, CI/CD improvements, and testing
 Collaborate with application teams on code integration into the Common Layer
 Follow the team's spec-driven development process — writing detailed specifications and requirements documents before coding, which are then used to guide AI-assisted code generation
 Learn and use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code) as part of daily work — the team is automating manual processes and AI proficiency is part of the role, not optional
 

Qualifications:

Participate in AI-related development efforts as skills grow (prompt engineering, AI integrations, workflow automation)

Education:

 Any bachelor’s degree

Experience:

 Total 5-7 years of experience required in relevant field
 6+ years of experience with Pega Platform (CSSA certification preferred)

Understanding of Pega Common Layer concepts (merge, skim, baseline, branching)

 

Skills:

 Working knowledge of Python (scripting, automation, web development)
 Familiarity with JavaScript and React (or willingness to learn quickly)
 Experience with Git/GitHub workflows (branching, PRs, merge conflict resolution)
 Exposure to relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server)
 Willingness to learn and adopt AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) — no prior AI experience required, but eagerness to learn is essential
 Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination

Preferred Skills:

 Pega DevOps or deployment automation experience
 Familiarity with Pega native APIs (deployment, build, export/import)
 Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or Django
 Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks
 Experience with Jenkins pipelines (Jenkinsfile, scripted/declarative pipelines)
 Familiarity with Docker and containerized development
 Any exposure to AI tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, or structured outputs
