Position Purpose: Designs, develops and implements enterprise software solutions. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

  • Strong application development and data engineering experience, with a demonstrated understanding of provider data and provider directory processes, particularly within government health insurance programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace
  • Monitor and support critical production processes, including provider directory feeds, credentialing feeds, provider data quality processes, Medicaid provider registration, and other downstream provider data transmissions.
  • Develops efficient code in various development languages for enhancements and bug fixes
  • Designs, and develops software solutions and process flows complying with standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Identify and implement process improvements focused on performance, scalability, automation, data quality, and repeatability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to improve process reliability and reduce operational risk.
  • Creates, executes, and evaluates unit/integration tests
  • Identifies, assess, and formulates architectural impacts and solutions from business requirements
  • Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, including the ability to estimate work needed
  • Creates conceptual and detailed technical design documents
  • Provides implementation expertise contributing to rollback, post install, data migration, and other artifacts as required including creation of support plans
  • Adheres to security management practices and promotes established security standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 – 4 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/SSIS, Power BI, SSRS
  • Intermediate knowledge of Snowflake
  • Experience with Application Development; Software Development
  • Knowledge of Programming Concepts; Software Design

Pay Range: $75,300.00 - $135,400.00 per year

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
