Job Title: HIH - Application Development Advisor
- DevOps Engineer with WebLogic Admin Support
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and 8+ years experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in WebLogic administration, as well as experience in Ansible automation. Candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and providing middleware support, especially for WebLogic Server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
- Administer and support WebLogic Server installations, configurations, deployments, patching and performance tuning (WebLogic Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c/14c).
- Perform server health checks, log monitoring, and incident resolution using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Splunk, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
- Support release management and environment setup for development, QA, and production.
- Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git/GitHub.
- Write and maintain shell scripts (PowerShell/ Python /similar scripting language) for automation and monitoring tasks.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security groups, and load balancing in cloud environments.
- Availability during offshore /Weekend for support in release/ patching activity.
- Soft skills, proficiency in written and communication skills
