Essential duties include the following:
- Maintains existing systems and fix defects, as necessary.
- Automates processes to improve efficiency.
- Builds tools to eliminate repetitive tasks.
- Participates in self-organizing teams working toward a common goal.
- Responds to issues as they arise and partner with Systems Assurance Group to improve monitoring.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of professional software development experience.
- Strong working knowledge of object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles and modern development practices. Demonstrated experience applying SOLID principles and common design patterns to build scalable, maintainable systems.
- Proven ability to design, develop, test, and maintain applications using multiple programming languages and frameworks, including: C#, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular/React, T‑SQL, HTML, CSS
- Experience designing or integrating agentic AI solutions, including task‑oriented or autonomous agents that leverage foundation models, utilize tool/API invocation, maintain context across multi‑step workflows, and operate within enterprise security and governance standards.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and generative AI platforms, such as Anthropic Claude, AWS AI services (including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and related offerings), GitHub Copilot.
- Experience integrating or consuming AI/ML models and APIs (e.g., recommendation engines, NLP, classification, forecasting).
- Understanding of data pipelines, model inputs/outputs, and AI model lifecycle basics.
- Ability to apply AI techniques to improve developer productivity, automate workflows, enhance user experiences, or improve data insights.
- Experience querying and manipulating data using relational databases; strong SQL skills required.
- Exposure to external data storage systems such as file shares, flat files, databases, and cloud storage.
- Knowledge of current testing frameworks, automation strategies, and quality engineering practices.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI capabilities.
- Ability to participate in operational support and on-call rotations as required.Capable of troubleshooting production issues and implementing long-term fixes.
- Able to sit for extended periods performing computer-based, sedentary work.
