As an application developer- Automation Testing, you will primarily be responsibility for developing, creating and maintaining our testing automation strategy, implementation and sustainment plan. You will be leveraging Cypress, to create, update and delete test cases that support our customer-facing digital application. With limited supervision, this job performs moderately complex software application configuration, testing, quality assurance, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.
Key Accountabilities
- APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Sets up and maintains Cypress application configurations to meet user and business requirements while developing and recommending improvements to standard and moderately complex application support processes and procedures.
- APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Performs programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases.
- USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Keeps an open channel of communication with users and responds to standard and moderately complex application support requests and needs.
- APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts advanced and complex application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Works with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers and business partners to ensure testing automation strategy and implementation align with standards and project goals.
- APPLICATION TESTING: In addition to testing automation, this role will also be responsible to support our manual, regression testing processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience in testing automation.
- Minimum requirement of 1 years of relevant work experience in Cypress Testing Suite, or an equivalent automation platform which leverages JavaScript
- Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
- Experience with supporting digital, customer-facing applications
- Familiarity with engineering and technologies such as REACT, Sprint Boot, and Java.
