Application Developer Specialist I

You will support SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) technical operations and solution delivery across development landscapes. You will be based in Shah Alam, Malaysia, focusing on reliable platform operations, high-quality application development, and innovation. You will report to the SAP BTP Delivery Lead or ERP COE Tech Developments SNR IT Manager and works with teams, architects, and basis/platform stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SAP BTP subaccounts, services, entitlements, destinations, roles, and connectivity configurations to ensure secure and stable platform operations.
• Develop, test, and deploy SAP BTP applications and technical components aligned with business and architecture standards.
• Monitor platform health, application performance, logs, and integrations, and resolve incidents or performance bottlenecks.
• Complete platform audit and compliance activities, including access reviews, configuration validation, and technical documentation updates.
• Provide technical support for BTP environments, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate resolution with teams.
• Guide technical deliverables across assigned workstreams, including release support, transport/deployment activities, and post-release stabilization.
• Implement innovation opportunities on SAP BTP (new services, automation, reusable components, and optimization projects).
• Collaborate within a global/regional team structure, sharing knowledge, contributing to standards, and supporting continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; internship or academic project experience in SAP, cloud, or enterprise application development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0 or more years of experience in SAP development, cloud platform administration, or application support.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Bahasa Malaysia and other languages are an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP UI5, CAP/Node.js/Java, integration services, and basic security/compliance practices.
