SUMMARY
Portland General Electric Co. seeks Application Developer to work in Portland, OR

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides application software development services. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs and documents software applications. Analyzes requirements and tests and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed   and subsequent iterations using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work. Maintains application support processes and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports. Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures. Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution. Escalates unresolved incidents. Facilitates recovery following resolution of incidents. Documents and closes resolved incidents according to agreed procedures. Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services. Detennines problem fixes/remedies. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures. Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems. Delivers technical visualization of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers. Translates logical designs into physical designs and produces detailed design documentation. Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes. Defines the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers and produces software builds for loading onto the target environment. Configures the hardware environment, produces integration test specifications and conducts tests, recording details of any failures and carrying out fault diagnosis. Propose and design the environment architecture for Workday application. 

Experienced with Integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors. Experienced with Workday technologies, including Web Service AP ls, SOAP, REST, Cloud Connect, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XMUXSLT, and Workday Reports and Dashboards. Conduct Technical training sessions for Client IT and support teams. Propose and design the environment architecture for Workday application. Experienced with Integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors. Experienced with Workday technologies, including Web Service APls, SOAP, REST, Cloud Connect, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XML/XSL T, and Workday Reports and Dashboards. Conduct Technical training sessions for Client IT and support teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in Analysis, Design, Development and maintenance of Workday. All experience and requirements may be gained concurrently after achievement of the degree. 

Compensation for role differs from below: $177,861

Compensation Range:

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
