POSITION SUMMARY

Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Senior Developer, Pega Systems. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Create low-level design documents for enterprise class structure, data model and data classes based on the signed off system requirement 
  • Responsible for design and development of overall solution including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solution that meets functional and non-functional requirements
  • Provides architecture and design guidance to project teams
  • Provides solution estimates
  • Provides thought-leadership to business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, existing application teams, solution architects to arrive at design and integration
  • Proposes comprehensive solutions based on business and technical requirements specifications 
  • Perform Code reviews for a team of 5 or greater
  • Ensure development teams deliverables are aligned to the overall solution design
  • Leads and mentors CSSA and CSA team members

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs additional duties as directed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Must be Pega Lead System Architect in 8.x certified *Strong understanding of Pega methodologies Exposure to Pega Mobile Framework
  • More than 6-8 years of experience in developing and implementing Pega solutions including enterprise scale solutions
  • Ability to define and enforce best practices in PEGA architecture/design/coding.
  • Experience with various Cloud platforms and technologies.
  • Implemented PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP services.
  • Perform regular code, and design reviews
  • Experience working with multiple project methodologies, including agile, scrum and waterfall Knowledgeable in Estimation, Performance Tuning and Deployment process specific to the Pega product Good Understanding to Pega Robotics framework and Pega Mobile
  • Experience in working on various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors etc.
  • Implement best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding
  • J2EE development experience
  • Experience leading a team of 5+
