Application Developer – Commercial Application
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our Commercial Applications team, with a primary focus on supporting and enhancing DocuSign CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management). In this role, you will extend and optimize DocuSign CLM functionality, integrate it with other business platforms, and ensure it meets evolving enterprise needs. You will collaborate within a dynamic team environment and work independently to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, analyze, design, program, debug, test, and modify software enhancements to meet stakeholder requirements for platforms such as DocuSign CLM, GoTransverse, and ServicePath
- Translate internal client requirements into robust application features and creative prototypes
- Perform unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing to ensure quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, resolving issues efficiently
- Evaluate existing applications to update and add new features, focusing on scalability and maintainability
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and handbooks to accurately represent application design and architecture
- Maintain the security and integrity of application software, following enterprise security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership
- Manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 3–6 years of professional experience in application and software development
- 3–6 years of hands-on coding experience in languages such as Python, C#, JSON, Java, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience working in a global team setting and for a US-based company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand commercial business processes and customizations related to billing, including CPQ (ServicePath), Salesforce, Workday, and DocuSign CLM
- Working knowledge of the Quote-to-Cash process and application development lifecycle
- Experience with API integrations for enterprise systems; demonstrated ability to write Web Services (RESTful, SOAP) and fault-tolerant code
- Experience in both waterfall and agile development frameworks
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 3–6 years hands-on experience supporting DocuSign CLM is a plus
- Advanced working knowledge of DocuSign CLM+, DocuSign IAM, or DocuSign Navigator
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with complex billing structures (e.g., consumption/usage-based billing models)
