What you’ll accomplish with us
As an Application Developer Analyst, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for production software solutions (incidents, maintenance, monitoring, etc.);
- Actively contribute to the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within an application support context (accelerators, templates, support tools), using a responsible AI approach (security, compliance, traceability);
- Participate in modernization and continuous improvement initiatives (standardization, automation, templates, testing practices) in collaboration with teams within the division;
- Actively contribute to incident and problem management: Analyze root causes and collaborate with analysts to clearly identify needs; Identify and propose sustainable or workaround solutions;
- Deliver application changes or configurations within required timelines and properly document implemented solutions: Apply development best practices supported by Centers of Excellence (CoE); Ensure the security and confidentiality of digital information at all times; Perform required testing throughout the development lifecycle up to production deployment, minimizing service disruptions; Measure and ensure the quality of delivered solutions (performance, robustness, test coverage, etc.); Implement or use continuous integration and deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps);
- Collaborate, as needed, with delivery teams within the division and actively participate in technical discussions and peer code reviews;
- Contribute to maintaining documentation and promoting best practices;
- Eventually participate in on-call rotations (evenings and weekends).
What could accelerate your success in this role
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a college diploma (DEC) or a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field;
- Has a minimum of four (4) years of experience in application development or IT support;
- Is recognized for influencing leadership, collaborative mindset, solution- and business value-oriented approach, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills;
- Stands out for being resourceful, curious, and creative (e.g., able to leverage AI tools to understand logic and debug unfamiliar languages);
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Possesses excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage priorities, stress, and pressure effectively;
- Shows a solid understanding of Agile and DevOps principles and the ability to evolve in a complex application environment;
- Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves interacting with English-speaking internal partners and using English documentation and demos on a daily basis;
- Is recognized for knowledge of technologies, databases, and application design and architecture patterns (see details below).
