About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Application Business Owner - Senior Business Execution Consultant.
This Application Business Owner provides end-to-end business ownership for two reconciliation platforms that support critical financial control, audit, and regulatory obligations across multiple Consumer and Wholesale business functions. The role is responsible for platform governance, control oversight, technology change management, issue remediation, and coordination across Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Finance.
In this role, you will:
  • Serve as the Application Business Owner for Consumer and Wholesale Business Functions
  • Own and govern the reconciliation platform and related business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and control standards.
  • Act as the primary control owner for platform-related controls, including monitoring, testing, and remediation activities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, regulatory, and compliance risks.
  • Manage access to the platform to ensure compliance with the job function requirements
  • Serve as the business lead and key point of contact for projects, system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Partner with Technology to manage production support, incidents, defect remediation, and platform stability.
  • Coordinate audit, regulatory examination, and risk management activities.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, governance routines, metrics, and reporting.
  • Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and control enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Application Business Owner (ABO) is essential for this role.
  • Reconciliation platform experience owning and governing business processes
  • Experienced in identifying risk (incident management), regulatory and operational compliance
  • Experience in platform controls, monitoring and remediation
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with technology to manage production support, incidents, defect remediation, platform stability
  • Process Automation improvement experience
  • Application lifecycle management and governance
