The Application Analyst I provides frontline support for clinical and business applications within the Managed Services division of Nordic Global. This role is ideal for recent entrants to the healthcare IT industry who have gained applications certifications or preliminary experience. The Application Analyst is responsible for responding to application support requests, managing documentation, collaborating with vendors and team members, and continuing their ongoing growth within healthcare IT.

Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve necessary certifications and follow learning paths to ensure ongoing growth.
Respond to application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring excellent customer service and communication.
Manage application and team documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevancy.
Establish and maintain relationships with software vendors to ensure high-level support.
Assist in planning and executing application upgrades and security patches.
Participate in smaller analyst-led projects, learning basic project management tasks such as scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes.
Learn clinically integrated hospital and physician office workflows (both clinical and business).
Comply with all written team policies and procedures.
Learn and leverage existing details of application documentation to provide effective and informed application support.
Understand the entire application lifecycle to include implementations, upgrades, and eventual decommissioning and data archiving.
Advance application knowledge and understanding from mentor/lead during first 12 months.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Sciences, or a related field (relevant education and/or 6+ years’ industry experience).
3+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or equivalent IT application analyst position with degree requirement.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Some roles may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for critical applications, ensuring continuous and reliable service availability and travel as necessary to support the business.
