Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Application Analyst I – Epic Orders 

 

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), we unite compassionate care, leading-edge research, and innovative technology to improve the lives of people with cancer worldwide. The Epic Application Analyst I, Epic Orders supports critical clinical workflows by maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing Epic Orders applications that enable safe, efficient patient care. 

 

This role partners with clinicians, operational leaders, and technical teams to support system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Epic Orders workflows, holds an active Epic Orders Certification, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and continuous improvement. 


Role Overview 


  • Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic Orders applications and workflows. 
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, workflow, and system issues. 
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions. 
  • Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities. 
  • Support order entry workflows and related clinical decision support functionality. 
  • Review and manage worklists and operational queues within Epic applications. 
  • Assist with workflow support and issue resolution involving Radiant and Cupid environments. 
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, testing scripts, and support materials. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend system enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency. 

Key Qualifications 


  • Active Epic Orders Certification required. 
  • Experience supporting Epic Orders applications within a healthcare environment. 
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows, order management processes, and Epic application support methodologies. 
  • Experience with Epic Cupid and/or Epic Radiant good to have but not required 
  • Ability to support multiple priorities and effectively manage application-related issues in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information 


  • Schedule:  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday with rotating on call shift 
  • Location: Hybrid; 3x a month on site; 885 Third Avenue, New York, NY 
  • Reporting To: Director, Epic Systems - Acute Care

Pay Range: $102,800.00 - $164,500.00
