Role Summary:
We are looking for an Appliance Operations Engineer to support appliance-related operational processes across project execution, procurement, logistics, and supplier coordination.
This role requires strong execution skills, structured communication, and it is nice to have foundational understanding of appliance hardware concepts.
You will work closely with internal teams as well as external vendors to ensure smooth operational workflows throughout the turn-key appliance lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support supplier communication, execution follow-up, and issue tracking, leveraging foundational hardware knowledge to facilitate effective discussions.
- Support appliance project execution through schedule tracking and cross-functional coordination, with the ability to understand technical context and dependencies.
- Assist in warranty and service-related tracking, documentation, and follow-up, with basic understanding of appliance failure types and service processes.
- Support appliance procurement activities, including PO tracking, execution follow-up, and related documentation, with the ability to understand appliance components and specifications involved.
- Coordinate intercompany shipment arrangements and support logistics execution and tracking for appliance-related items.
- Assist in demand forecast data consolidation, tracking, and reporting, with basic awareness of appliance hardware lifecycle and supply constraints.
- Prepare structured reports, documentation, and operational records to support internal reviews and decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, RD team, supply chain, finance, and logistics teams to ensure execution alignment.
Our preferred requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Experience related to procurement, logistics, supply chain, hardware operations, or vendor management preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail, and the ability to adopt AI-assisted solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a proactive execution mindset
- Familiarity with basic appliance hardware concepts.
