St. Joseph Healthcare, a proud member of Covenant Health, is seeking an experienced Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our Wound Management and Hyperbaric Medicine team in Bangor, Maine.

  • 245 years of nursing experience: Our nursing team brings a tremendous depth of clinical knowledge and expertise to practice.

Practice & Clinical Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in wound management and enjoy applying medical, procedural, dermatologic, and surgical knowledge to complex wounds.

Preferred experience and qualifications include:

  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience
  • Wound care expertise and experience managing complex wounds highly preferred
  • Experience performing wound debridement
  • Strong procedural and/or surgical skills preferred
  • Dermatologic knowledge helpful
  • Hyperbaric medicine experience preferred, or willingness to complete a 40-hour Hyperbaric Medicine training program

Schedule & Patient Volume

  • Monday-Friday
  • No call or overnight requirements
  • Approximately 35-40 combined patients per day
  • Approximately 0-6 hyperbaric patients per day
  • Typical clinic hours: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM and/or 10:00 AM–4:30 PM
