We are presenting an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Applications Administrator II (PASD Systems Governance Support). In this role, you will play a critical part in the PASD IT Systems Governance Group, supporting application compliance, operational excellence, and adherence to IT and regulatory standards.
You will be responsible for monitoring system compliance, managing application health through governance tools such as CREQ, supporting system inductions, and ensuring process consistency across PASD IT. This role will directly contribute to IT alignment with business strategies, compliance and risk management, and continuous process improvement within the PASD IT organization.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- 2–4 years of experience in application administration, system governance, or IT compliance, including hands-on involvement in system validation, process documentation, and audit readiness activities.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent application of IT SOPs to maintain all systems in a validated and compliant state.
- Monitor and manage application health using Change Request Application (CREQ) and other governance tools.
- Support the induction of new applications into CREQ and ensure readiness documentation is complete.
- Assist in collecting, verifying, submitting, and reconciling RTE AOP data in alignment with PASD governance standards.
- Collaborate with PASD IT teams to implement process improvements driven by SOP updates or regulatory changes.
- Provide consultation and training to PASD IT staff on system compliance and governance practices.
- Serve in the capacity of Application Manager when needed.
- Support general application administrative and compliance tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of software lifecycle management and system validation processes (GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Knowledge of application governance frameworks, audit readiness, and documentation control.
- Familiarity with IT SOPs, change management, and risk assessment practices.
- Proficiency with governance and tracking tools (e.g., CREQ, Jira, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on compliance, accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must Have Skills
- Hands-on experience in application compliance oversight or system validation support.

- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to include prompt engineering.

- Understanding of CI/CD processes and system readiness verification.
- Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools to include Power BI.
Working Hours
- India: 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST
- Philippines: 03:30 PM to 12:30 AM PST
