Advanced Practice Provider – Dermatology

Avon, Connecticut
 

If you are an Advanced Practice Nurse or a Physician Assistant looking for a collaborative environment, where you can learn, grow, and excel in providing effective and efficient care, then Starling Physicians is the place to be!

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work collaboratively with our Dermatology Department.

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform skin examinations and consultations, diagnose and treat skin conditions, and provide post-treatment care
• Perform minor procedures like biopsies and cryotherapy, suturing, lasers
• Educate patients on skin care practices and preventative measures
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in developing patient care policies
• Work closely with our dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to provide care for your patients

Requirements:

• Valid Connecticut license is required
• Dermatology experience strongly encouraged, but not required
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
