ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for an ambitious, data-driven Digital Marketing Intern to join our team and contribute to the success of our digital marketing campaigns. This role involves working closely with the Digital Marketing Intern to assist our team in managing our firm’s social media accounts and campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in digital marketing operations and contribute to meaningful projects that make an impact. 

To be considered, you must be able to commit to a 10-week hybrid internship and work 40 hours per week during our summer program. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Assist in managing social media accounts and executing campaigns. 

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis. 

• Write copy for blogs, social media captions, and email campaigns. 

• Help with paid advertising campaign monitoring. 

• Compile and present campaign performance reports. 

• Stay updated on digital fintech trends and suggest improvements. 

Education and Experience: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or related fields. 

• Senior standing, May 2026 graduate 

• Experience managing personal or small business social media accounts, blogs, or websites. 

 Skills and Competencies 

• Digital Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing. 

• Analytics and Reporting: Familiarity with Google Analytics, social media analytics, or other tools for analyzing campaign performance. 

• Social Media Savvy: Experience with platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and TikTok. 

• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze trends and look at customer segmentation. 

• Project Coordination: An ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and collaborate with team members. 

• Marketing Tools: Experience or willingness to learn tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or Buffer. 

• CRM Tools: Familiarity with customer relationship management software. 

• Basic Financial Knowledge: An understanding of financial principles or fintech products/services is often an advantage. 

• Paid Media Advertising: Hands-on experience or coursework in Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or Google Ads is a good bonus. 

• Strong verbal and written communication. 

• Attention to detail and creativity in marketing strategies. 

• Proactive and eager to learn & collaborative mindset for working within a team. 

• Adaptability in a fast-paced fintech environment. 

Work Environment: 

• This internship operates in an office environment. 

• This internship operates on a hybrid schedule in Chicago, IL.  

Salary: 

• $25 per hour.

Salary Range

$0-$50

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
