Team mission

Supply Marketing bridges Sales, Supply, Product, and Supplier Experience at GetYourGuide. We define, execute, and measure marketing tactics that add value to prospective and existing suppliers and support supply-facing teams in reaching their business objectives. As an example, we run joint campaigns with top suppliers and promote them across a mix of internal and external marketing channels. By providing exposure and helping suppliers with their business needs, these campaigns are a great way for GetYourGuide to strengthen strategic relationships and can be leveraged to negotiate better commercial terms.

We are now searching for an APAC & Middle East Supply Marketing Lead (based in Tokyo) to help us identify and roll out the most relevant marketing initiatives in the whole APAC & Middle East region (particularly in SEA, Japan, Australia). As a Senior individual contributor in a charge of multifaceted market, you will be responsible to adapt our global strategy to the region as well as execute it through direct account management and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on some of GetYourGuide's most important supply relationships and shape the way the team works with the world's leading attractions & tour providers.

You will:

• Develop a Supply Marketing strategy for APAC, with a focus on leveraging marketing tactics to win the top attractions in the region.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships both externally (with top attractions and suppliers) as well as internally (with stakeholders in the Sales, Supply and Marketing teams)
• Create, pitch, negotiate and implement marketing initiatives that benefit both GetYourGuide and our top partners, always looking for win-win solutions.
• Deliver marketing presentations, relying on your storytelling and sales skills to convince partners about the benefits of our initiatives for their business needs.
• Work with our campaign managers to make sure our initiatives are delivered correctly and on time, working cross-functionally to achieve great results.

Who you are

• You have +7 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and/or Partnerships, Operations & Project management with a proven track of exceeding targets (Marketing agency experience will also be considered).
• You are a clear communicator and a savvy negotiator, with a track record of successes with mid to large size partners.
• You are strategic and show the ability to maintain a +6 months horizon, understanding and evaluating dependencies. 
• You can project manage and work to ensure deadlines are met and communication flows efficiently.
• You perform consistently excellent work, are open to giving and receiving feedback, and operate with a growth mindset.
• You are proactive, result-driven, solution-oriented.
• You are based in Tokyo or willing to relocate.
• You speak fluent English and ideally one Asian language.  
• You understand the Asian travel landscape and ideally have experience working in it.
• Experience in digital and/or Brand marketing is a strong plus.
