APAC Next Gen ArchitectJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise Architecture with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies to lead our architecture strategy and ensure alignment with our business goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, establishing architectural standards, and guiding the overall technology direction of the organization. This leadership role requires a visionary thinker who can effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives and leverages cloud-native technologies.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures that optimize service delivery and support business agility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product management, and operations, to ensure architecture decisions reflect business needs and industry best practices.
- Establish architectural governance and standards, promoting adherence to these frameworks across the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and platforms that can drive innovation and improve overall effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of modern architectural practices such as microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
- Mentor and guide the architecture and development teams in implementing cloud-native solutions and best practices.
- Present architectural roadmaps and strategies to executive leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on cloud-native technologies and frameworks.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native application development methodologies.
- Extensive experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in complex environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
- Experience in data architecture and governance, including experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
