Job Description:
At Royal Canin we aim to be the reference in pet health through nutrition. The APAC Media and Content Lead, sitting within the APAC regional Demand Team exists in partnership with local and global brand and media teams to create exceptional mutual value to transform the experience of pet ownership.
This role will contribute to the region’s growth agenda, enabling Royal Canin achieving the overall goals and objectives (OGSM 2030) and having a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of more than 10 million of cats and dogs by 2030.
What are we looking for?
- 7 years minimum experience in performance marketing (including biddable, search, retail media), social, media management and content strategy.
- Expert in omni-channel media strategy, with degree qualification or equivalent digital education.
- Proven track record in executing social media and channel management strategies (ideally with knowledge of APAC social media landscape).
- Ability to influence indirect, cross-functional teams, ideally across multiple countries with a range of global and local senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record leveraging outcome based KPIs, measurements including brand health and media measurement solutions.
- A genuine interest in data driven marketing and demonstrating clear results for advertisers.
- Experience in project management and ability to lead complex and numerous projects for short term and long-term impact.
- Strong value alignment with our mission for pet and pet owners.
- Excellent written and oral English language skills.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Media Planning: Lead the annual media planning process and support markets to deliver high-quality media briefs.
- Media Effectiveness: Deploy a new investment framework, working with markets to adopt Royal Canin media priorities (digital first: search, SOL & social). Applying your search and social knowledge to drive strategies that focus on awareness, engagement and growth across new and emerging channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, TikTok, etc.).
- Regional Content Management & Optimization: Manage the APAC content calendar, ensuring content reusability and coordination between local and global teams.
- Content Model & Governance: Support the adoption of Royal Canin’s content operating model across APAC, driving efficiency and market adoption. Oversee content compliance, and alignment to brand strategy and guidelines.
- Community and relationship engagement: Be responsible for the content and media APAC regional communities, build strong relationships with global and local teams, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Provide regular performance reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for media & content optimization.
- Capability Building: Continually share best practice and optimize ways of working to deliver our digital-first strategies, recommending tools, resources and infrastructure to succeed.
