APAC Institutional Cash Equity Operations - Associate Middle Office

Job Purpose:

BTIG seeks a talented and ambitious candidate to join the APAC Institutional Middle Office team. In this role, the ideal candidate will be supporting a broad range of cash equities business - PT, DMA, and the High Touch desk in trade date functions (Allocations, Confirmations & Reconciliations).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities relating to client trade booking, reconciliation and ensure all daily activities and controls are completed in a timely manner
• Trade allocation and confirmation generation to clients
• Trade day cash and stock reconciliation
• Participate in projects, change initiatives and office administration
• Drive the implementation of a front to back model to improve client experience and operational efficiency

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in securities products, an operations background and client-facing experience is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Understanding of the trade life cycle
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
• Self-motivated approach to work with a high work ethic and superior attention to detail
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Must work collaboratively, explain and challenge as appropriate
• Problem solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
• The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset and passion for constant improvement and transformation
