About the Role
Join us at an exciting stage as we build a new organization from the ground up. We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Lead HR Generalist who will shape our HR foundation in India and partner closely with leadership to create an exceptional employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building processes from scratch, and can balance compliance with innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, and best practices across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Own and resolve complex HR queries confidently, including compensation, leave management, and sensitive terminations.
  • Establish and maintain compliance with Indian labor laws and APAC regional regulations while enabling business agility.
  • Design and implement scalable HR processes for onboarding, performance, and engagement—tailored for a growing organization.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence and global HR teams to deliver seamless, employee-centric solutions.
  • Lead HR projects that support organizational growth, including culture-building initiatives and change management.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and knowledge bases for India and APAC countries (Singapore, Philippines, China).
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Strong knowledge of HR concepts, Indian employment law, and APAC statutory requirements.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder networks and influence outcomes.
  • Comfort with building processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills—clear, empathetic, and adaptable across all levels.
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A proactive mindset: anticipate issues, diagnose root causes, and propose solutions.
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., ServiceNow or similar case management tools) is a plus.
