This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, set outside of Austin, TX.
Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a Club AP Specialist to join the Finance and Accounting Department.
The Club AP Specialist will responsible for assisting with the organization, coordination and implementation of office administration and member/guest communication and relations for the residents/members of the project. In this position, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up new vendors in the Club Operating System
• Monitor the Club Accounts Payable email address
• Process invoices through the Club Operating System
• Secure W9's for vendors
• Answer all incoming vendor inquiries and resolve potential payment discrepancies
• Assist with the completion of credit applications
• Provide invoices to Department Heads and assist with coding
• Maintain accounts payable vendor files and attachments
• Maintain subcontractor compliances as applicable
• Assist with annual audits
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements
• Process annual filing of 1099 forms
• Year-end close procedures for AP, i.e. 1099's, etc.

• Assist Accounting personnel with projects as needed

Qualifications
• 2-5 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience
• Knowledge and recent use of Jonas Software or TEI (preferred)
• Knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects or assignments at one time.

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.
