About the Opportunity
Driscoll's is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to strengthen our team. In this role, you ensure the timely and accurate processing of incoming invoices and contribute to the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate processing of incoming invoices.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices, considering payment terms and cash flow guidelines.
- Prepare the weekly payment run according to company standards.
- Follow up on supplier invoices with the relevant internal teams.
- Verify and ensure invoices are approved according to the established hierarchy.
- Review and follow up on unapproved invoices on a monthly basis.
- Calculate and post monthly accruals for unapproved invoices and expected costs.
- Participate in the quarterly account reconciliation process for assigned accounts.
- Systematically archive processed invoices.
- Support additional tasks assigned by your manager, within your qualifications and expertise.
Candidate Profile
- MBO education, preferably in Finance.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in a commercial environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong skills in Excel and ERP systems.
- Pragmatic with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- A team player with effective communication skills.
