JOB OVERVIEW
The AP Specialist is responsible for reviewing and entering vendor invoices and credit card transactions; and assisting with balancing of vendor statements and check runs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data entry of high-volume AP invoices
- Data entry of high-volume AP invoices
- Ability to convert PDF files to Excel for reconciliation purposes or importing into accounting software
- Entry of credit card transactions
- Assisting with managing the credit card expense report exports and importing into accounting software.
- Reconciliation of credit card statements
- Assisting with managing the credit card expense report exports and importing into accounting software.
- Organization/Filing of vendor invoices and supporting documentation
- Assistance with reconciling vendor statements
- ·Assistance with preparation of check runs
- Responding to vendor inquiries
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications
- Two years relevant AP experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience using ERP/accounting systems
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to deal with high volumes
- Able to navigate multiple software’s
- Great customer service – both internal and external customers
